Wonderful

The location on Sunrise beach is great and the hotel feels like its own small world. Our bungalow was in the front so it had a great view of the beach and it felt great to be able to go from the water to the beach to the bungalow at will. The room was very confortable with great bed and pillows. The bathroom was minimal but adapted to the location with a shower that was really helpful after a day on the sandy beach. It was easy to rent a boat and tour the nearby snorkeling locations as the long tails boats are parked next to the hotel restaurant. They have great massages too

The breakfast could have been better, especially in Thailand where the food was generally great everywhere.

Relaxing quiet stay on Sunrise beach

We spent 3 nights in the Beachfront Deluxe Plus Bungalow. Wonderful view of the beach ! Bungalow was spacious, very comfortable bed, good air con, water bottles replenished daily & hotel grounds cleaned regularly making it a very nice experience for the guests. Breakfast option was good & we enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. The staff provided good service & were all warm and friendly. We appreciate the area was cordoned off for swimming & water in good conditon as many little fishes so close to the shore If you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay in Ko Lipe, this is a perfect option

prime location, good breakfast, beautiful scenery, lovely staff and hotel style

the service at the breakfast sometimes can be very slow and have to remind about the order. no WiFi at the chalets, in common areas the signal is also very bad.

Good

Really great staff and partially great location (but the boats are really annoying and there is often petrol and other residues in the water). Breakfast was great every morning, with lots of choice. Overall its well mantained and a cute resort with nice decorations.

Small wooden bungalows with a terrace on a beautiful beach. the bungalows are functional, nice rustic looking but unfortunately don't have any space to put your clothes except for one hanging rail or under the bed. the bungalows are clean and well kept with a good air conditioning there is a nice restaurant and bar, beach area to hang out on a beautiful sandy beach. Breakfast you can choose between I think it was 8 different sets. so a lot of choice. there is massage on sight as well.

What was the highlight of Lipe Beach Resort

Good stay

I love the location; it's situated at the fancier end of Sunrise Beach, where you'll find minimal longtail boats parked around this area. Additionally, there's a designated snorkeling zone right in front of the resort with buoys, so you don't have to worry about boats passing through. This beach is perfect for catching both sunrise and sunsets on Koh Lipe. The resort is only a 5-minute walk away from Zodiac Bar and Northpoint view (Sunset point). The restaurant and bar were excellent, and I highly recommend trying the Elephant Aloha cocktail, chicken wings, and mango sticky rice! I also enjoyed the in-house masseuse, who requires a minimum 30-minute advance booking. Sunset yoga sessions with Keirita were a wonderful way to unwind, and the reception staff were very friendly. They even helped me call my snorkeling tour operators to confirm the pickup point. I stayed in the Seabreeze deluxe unit for 3 nights, which was located on the second row. Surprisingly, it offered an in-between view of the beachfront bungalows. Our only regret was not booking an AC unit. I absolutely love the vibe here.

Cons - the noise! Sunrise Beach is very busy; DO NOT underestimate the longtail motorboats, as they are LOUD. Additionally, there's a sick dog underneath the patio, which was very distracting during the massage and yoga sessions. We felt sorry for the poor thing; they should consider putting it out of its misery :( Furthermore, I came across comments stating that the backroad leads to slums. This comment is extremely rude and disrespectful. As tourists and guests, we should respect the local villages and livelihoods. However, I agree that the development on this side of the island is less developed, resulting in pretty terrible roads and passing through local villages on the motorbike taxi. Last but not least, you have to request housekeeping. They do not clean the rooms daily; instead, you need to drop your keys in the CLEAN basket. Considering the price, I believe it's overpriced. If you choose the AC units, you might as well opt for a fancier resort. The bungalows are quite close to each other.

Located right on the beach. The hotel restaurant had the yummiest food too.

The room was a bit shabby. The bathroom and toilet is semi-open so we had cockroaches on a couple of nights.

Beach is nice and cottages are also good, despite washroom being "open" to the outside.

Mosquitos inside the room. Luckly we have a net for the bed.
